Thank You Lord Jesus Christ for Your Salvation.

Faith in Action

Is faith just simply believing? No, certainly not! It is the believing, then the action taken towards that belief. You can believe that you can get a job, but until you go out and take the proper steps to get employed, you're really not truly believing anything.

The faith is in the action!

Today, I'm taking the action on the prayers that I pray.

What a hipocrite I'd be if I prayed for GOD to care for a loved one, then I sit on my selfish little but and do nothing for that loved one!

GOD is definately the healer and the worker of the miracle, but how many times did Jesus say... "Your FAITH has made you well"?

Prayer of Saint Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.

My Wife, Shawna

Lord, typing out my prayers on this blog may not be standard format, but I know that You hear me and the wishes of my heart. Lord, You know my heart, and You know all things Lord. Please have mercy on my wife Shawna and bless her, heal her mind for the evil spirits that are troubling her and give her peace, YOUR peace Lord, I beg of You. You are the Alpha and the Omega, and the Healer, and You are LOVE Lord. You have come to set the captives free. Free her Lord, all the little puzzle pieces that need to be in place you for healing, bring to pass Lord.
I thank You in advance for I know that You are a faithful and just God and that You will not let any of Your children go astray.
I love You Lord and thank YOU so much for everything!

Lord, Bless Our Marriage

Many marriages wind up in divorce these days.

I've been married twice and I am engaged to be married now.  I believe that without the LORD being the head of the relationship, and of ALL for that matter, nothing good can come of anything.

So my prayer is for a very peaceful, loving, healthy, friendship based, and pleasing to God relationship with my future wife, Shawna.

Thank You LORD for all YOUR Blessings in my life, and thank YOU for my wife!

Prayer and Faith

Sometimes it's hard to carry on in this fast paced, and sometimes evil world.

I pray for healing for others that I love, and with that, it means that I do not give up on them. If I did give up, it would only mean that I'm giving up on my faith in God, that He 'can' and 'will' heal them, in His time. It is my job to keep loving people. Sometimes their behavior is very bad and it makes me sick to even associate with some people sometimes. But those that are very close to me, my family and my very close friends, are people that I cannot, as a Christian, turn my back on.
Jesus wants us to act this way towards everyone, and I'ved tried, and fail. So, I start with my immediate circle. Like the saying goes, "Love starts at home"...

I have to act and walk through life as 'if' the healing IS! Not maybe, but IS! That's faith!

Faith in Action

I love how this story shows David's total faith in God, in action!

Imagine standing up in front of an entire army, where NO ONE will stand forth and accept the challenge of facing this huge warrior. David showed massive faith and proclaiming that it is God by whom the battle WILL BE WON!

So, whenever you are feeling hopeless, down, like you can't... remember this - NEVER LOOSE FAITH in GOD! He's the source, not us!

I want to dedicate this post to all the young men in the United States Armed Forces, The US Navy, US Army, US Coast Guard, US Air Force, and The Marines! Thank you all for your service!

Some Good Prayer Quotes

  • "Prayer strikes the winning blow; service is simply picking up the pieces." S.D. Gordon

  • "God shapes the world by prayer. The more prayer there is in the world the better the world will be, the mightier the forces of against evil." E.M. Bounds

  • "Talking to men for God is a great thing, but talking to God for men is greater still." E.M. Bounds

  • "Prayer is where the action is." John Wesley

  • "Seven days without prayer makes one weak." Allen E. Vartlett

  • "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds,
    and to him who knocks it will be opened." Jesus (Matthew 7:7-8; Luke 11:9-10)

Please pass it on...

WE ALL NEED PRAYER

In the name of JESUS I pray that Lindsay finds love for herself and realizes who really loves her and who is just using her. I PRAY FOR MY FAMILY AND CHRIS .. AMEN

Thank GOD for Everything

Today I 'get to' be grateful for all my circumstances. My prayer today is of gratitude to God for all He has done, and I thank Him, even for the things that 'seem' like they're going wrong in my life. When I align myself up with this type of praise to God, regardless of my situation, then I find that I can get through, knowing that the end result will be in God's hands, which, I believe, always turns out for the good. Thank You God, Amen.

Lord, take my will and my life...

Why should this be a scary devotion, especially when we turn our will and lives over to many things that we have no control over that are bad for us, let's say for example, behind the wheel of a car in high-speed traffic.

I stumble at this frequently, but am reminded that God knows what's best for me and loves me, even in my imperfect nature.

So, here's my prayer for today:
"Lord, today I strive to more in tune to You and Your Will, not mine. Thy Will be done. Thank You for loving me! Amen."

Higher Powered?

I've been in recovery for years, and I see that the principles of the program in the 12 steps, suggests a Higher Power. I think this is because common drunks, addicts, and other self-centered compulsive ego-centric individuals have a hard time with the word God, or the concept of God. So it's like the founders of AA "tricked" the new coming recovery prospect into believing that God could and would if he were sought, but they just had to give it another term, so that these people could at least 'try' God. Higher Power... It's like a marketing sales pitch, but the truth of it is, that it works. God knows who we are, and God is God, and loves us even in our darkest moments. In time, after developing a relationship with this Higher Power, it's easier to call it what it is... GOD! Thank you God for AA and recovery.

Those that tick me off!

It's suggested that I pray for those that tick me off. So, all of you who are self centered in the extreme, care only for yourselves, use other people, lie, cheat, steal, kill, hurt, abuse, make messes, drink too much, drug too much, listen to your music way too loud when in public, throw litter on the sidewalks, complain about everything, remain the victim, offer nothing to anyone, spend most of your money on 'fashionable wears' and give nothing to anyone in need, offer advice to someone when you haven't walked a mile in their shoes, who think that a new president will solve our problems in America, who go to church regularly but turn away those who need help. Yes, all of you, to name a few, I pray that God blesses you.

Those who are lonely tonight!

I ask God to bless those who are lonely tonight. I myself have been lonely also and I spoke with my fiance today as she's far away and she's feeling lonely too! Loneliness eats the soul and no one should 'have' to be alone. I know that God is always with us and there is always someone less fortunate than we are, all we have to do is take a look around and reach out our hand.

For You!

I pray that God blesses you today, in every way. You and your loved ones.
